Baths of Caracalla

Southeast of ancient Rome's center houses the Baths of Caracalla.

The red-brick ruin complex housed luxurious bathing facilities that could accommodate more than 1,600 people at a time. Approximately 8,000 visitors each day.

Completed in 216 A.D. this is the largest and most preserved ancient spa today.
